Make appointment with your doctor
If you are a first time user, please
click on Patient Registration to register.
On the patient registration page, you will be asked for your doctor's
name. Please be sure that your doctor are a subscriber of see-a-doctor.com
service. Enter your doctor's name and click on the Submit button. If
your doctor are a subscriber of see-a-doctor.com service, you will be
directed to the next registration page where you can enter your e-mail
address and set your password. Click on the Submit button and you will
be taken to your doctor's appointment schedule where you can make your
appointment.
If your doctor's office is not a
subscriber or if you did not provide the correct doctor's name, you
will see a message stating that your login attempt has failed and you
should contact your doctor's office for further instructions.
If you are a returning user, please
enter your e-mail address and your password in the Patient
Login form. Click on the Submit button and you will be taken to
your doctor's appointment schedule where you can make your appointment.
The doctor office's Home Page
Once subscribed with
see-a-doctor.com, a doctor's office will have a web page
within the see-a-doctor.com site. The office' home page displays
general information about the office
such as specialty, address, phone, and office hours. It also includes a
menu on the left side listing the following features:

information about the doctor's office such as: secondary specialty, foreign
languages, accepted health plans, hospital affiliation...

This page provides the
doctor's background information. Patients can find out more about their
doctor's training, experience, and certification...on this page.
Make An Appointment
Once clicking on "Make an appointment" users will be presented
with the office's schedule of the current date on the right side and
the calendar on the left side menu. On the new calendar, users can click
on arrows to switch month. Clicking on a date will display the schedule
of that date on the right.
The schedule is a table that consists of many cells. Each cell
corresponds to a typical 15 minutes office visit. To make an appointment,
select a desired time in the schedule. This will bring up a form
that collects patients information such as name, DOB, phone number,
type of insurance and reason for visit. Successfully filling out and
submitting the form will generate a confirmation message that can be
printed out for use as a reminder.
Search / Cancel Appointments
This feature allows users to
search for an appointment. For instance, a patient may want to verify an
appointment he or she has forgotten. The patient can click on search/cancel
link to bring up the search form. Type in the patient's name and click on
submit button. A search result page will display appointment(s) the
patient has made. A cancel button is provided for each appointment found
so that users can cancel the appointment and reschedule if needed. Clicking
on the cancel button will delete the appointment from office's schedule. A
confirmation page then comes up to confirm the cancellation.
